Booking Terms

Thank you for choosing to spend some time at Daisy Bank Camp, we’re really looking forward to welcoming you; here are our booking terms and conditions for you to check.

We are keeping up to date with the latest government restrictions and following this guidance Covid-19 Government Guidance. We are committed to ensuring your safety, so we have employed professional commercial cleaners, using the best anti-viral cleaning products and following strigent Covid security protocols to avoid cross contamination.

Full payment is required on booking.

You won’t be able to make a booking directly from the website if:

- You want to book for a visit which is less than 24 hours away.

- You would like to book the whole site.

Please contact us directly to do this on, and we’ll get back to you asap to discuss.

If you need to cancel your booking for any reason more than 1 month before your arrival date, then we’d be happy to either re-book you for another date, or give you a 50% refund. If you cancel with less than 1 month to go, then no refund is due.

We have designed Daisy Bank Camp to cater for adults seeking peace and quiet in a rural setting; as much as we love those under 16, Daisy Bank Camp doesn’t cater for them.

Check in is from 5pm on your arrival date, and check-out is 9am on your departure day; this is to allow for |Covid secure cleaning. Please let us know if you are going to be arriving after 10pm.

The speed limit is strictly walking pace on site at all times; please only park in the bay designated for your cabin,

The very nature of our site means that there are hazards to be aware of at all times. Please be careful of your footing over branches and undergrowth, watch out on wooden surfaces as they can be slippery when wet and take care wandering round the camp at night. Every effort has been made to ensure guests safety but we cannot accept responsibility for any accidental injuries. All incidents & accidents occurring on site must be reported to us at the house.

No additional family or friends are allowed on the site unless previously agreed.

As we are right next to open moorland, no open fires or BBQs are permitted. This is because if a spark were to travel onto the moor and cacth fire, it would be devastating to that precious ancient habitat, as well as put all of us at risk.

Please be aware of the fire assembly point (in front of the main house), extinguisers and fire buckets for use if needed.

No smoking anywhere on site due to the risk of fires; vaping is permitted outside the cabins only.

Daisy Bank Camp is a peaceful place, please keep that in mind when you are enjoying facilities outside of your cabin, and make sure noise is kept to a minimum after 10pm (you are more likely to hear the owls that way too).

Loud music, shouting, singing etc is unacceptable at any time, and noisy guests might be asked to leave.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome for an extra fee. All dogs must be on a lead and under control at all times, we have sheep and lambs on site and a loose dog is a danger to them. Always keep your dog with you, no dogs to be left in the cabins while you are away. No dogs are allowed on the furniture, so please bring their bed with you so they feel at home.

Please use the rubbish bins and recycle points next to the Shepherds hut.

We cannot accept responsibility for loss or damage to personal possessions or vehicles, this includes when vehicles are recovered in snowy conditions

The information taken at time of booking is required to be collected for the purposes of processing your reservation with us. We would like to get in touch with you in the future with updates and offers, but if you would rather we didn’t, then just let us know.
